We are sad to announce that on January 29, 2022, at the age of 101, Julia Mae Fanning of Opelika, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her husband Horace Fanning of Opelika, AL; her goddaughter Tommie Barham (Oswald) of Silver Springs, MD; and her siblings-in-law, Bernice Holmes of Atlanta, GA and Booker T. Fanning (Martha) of Aliquippa, PA. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
