She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilson "Nub" Smith and Margaret "Maggie" Jackson; her former husband Jimmy; and her daughter Barbara Graye. She is survived by: her daughters, Susan (Charlie), Carolyn (Robby) and Kirstie (Jay); her grandchildren, Angela (Blake), Daniel (Cassidy), Will (Kayla), Leila, Sammy and Maggie; her husband Buddy; and her stepchildren, Shanon (Doug), Stephanie (Steve), Robyn (Bill) and Jennifer (Jeff).
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home (1500 Frederick Rd, Opelika, AL 36801). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the St. Michael's Catholic Church (1100 N College St, Auburn, AL 36830).
