She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Lee Comer and Elbert Ligon; her children, Kelly Patterson, Janice Brewer and Annie Arnold; and her siblings, Frances, Paul, Ezekiel, Princella, Essie Mae, Easia and Velma.
She is survived by: her husband Willie Patterson Sr.; and her children, Kerry (Ann), James, John (Linda), Willie Jr., Dexter and Eric Patterson (Kita). She is also survived by her 22 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rainbow Park Baptist Church (2941 Columbia Dr, Decatur, GA 30034-4146). A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 2:45 PM at the South View Cemetery (1990 Jonesboro Rd SE, Atlanta, GA 30315).
