Janice Russell Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 4, 2025, at the age of 80, Janice Russell of Opelika, Alabama, born in West Point, Georgia passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Janice Russell to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, H. G. Kilgore and Molly Kilgore; her brother Jimmy Kilgore; and her husband Tom Russell. She is survived by: her sons, Steven Gibson (Delaine) and Randall Gibson (Caron); her siblings, Patricia Anglin and Butch Kilgore; her grandchildren, Tommy Gibson (Tiffany), Travis Gibson (Lauren) and Haylie Gibson; and her great grandchildren, Kason Gibson and Oliver Gibson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel (3700 20th Ave, Valley, AL 36854). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
