He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.

“I never met Buddy in person, I live in another state. I do feel like I've gotten to know him a little from shared videos from my aunt Janice on Facebook. You could see he loved singing and playing his guitar and all around had good since of humor. We spoke now and then when I would video chat with my aunt. He had a solid presence in a home filled with love. I pray the Lord gives comfort to my aunt and all of Buddy's loved ones. My deepest sympathy for your loss. Carolyn”
