He was predeceased by: his parents, William Sanders and Mildred Sanders; his son Lindsey Sanders; his grandson Bradford Sanders; and his brothers, William, Walter, John, Joseph and Oliver Sanders.
He is survived by: his wife June Dudley Sanders; his children, Cheryl Patten and Greg Sanders (Tamara); his grandchildren, Damon Sanders (Darlene), Julie Allison, Renea Thomas, Rozanne Schultz (Mike), Austin Patten (Betty) and Tiffany Cooper (Dusty); and his caregivers, Barbara Jones, Ann Lipscomb, Nautica Norwood, Melissa Mercer, Lois Miles, Patricia Moore, Pearl Pickard, Mary Scott and Veronica Thomas. He is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
