He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Dell and Howard James Register Sr.; his brothers, David Register and Gary Register; and his nephew Eric Watford.
He is survived by: his wife Cathryn Register; his children, Paul Register (Ruth) of Auburn, Amy Sholar of Decatur Alabama, Roby Register of Decatur Alabama and Genny Nash (David) of Centerville Tennessee; his sister Judy Holloway (Mike) of Cantonment Florida; his sisters-in-law, Carolyn Watford, Robin Brookins (Reggie) and Marie Guettler; and his pet Marley. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, six nieces and 8 nephews, numerous great nieces and nephews and best friend.
