It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Horace Junior Thomas of Opelika, Alabama, who passed away on November 5, 2022, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his children, Fredrika Floyd-Bailey (Marcus), Twmaine Floyd (Brandi) and Tawan Thomas; his grandchildren, Jamarion Bailey, Amarihanna Bailey, Rachel Floyd, Cameron Floyd, Sean Floyd, Elijah Floyd, Hudson Floyd, Zachariah Floyd and Josiah Floyd; his sisters, Beverly Johnson Core (Lewis) of Opelika, AL and Bobbi Ann Morgan (Thomas) of Opelika, AL; his friend Annie Maddox; and his close friends, Cedrick Truitt, Denson Heard and Earnest Ray Russell. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
