He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his daughters, LaShanda Calloway of Opelika, Valerie Frederick (Tommy) of Atlanta, Felina Meredith (Rodney) of Valley and Shekevia Bonner (Alonzo) of Opelika; and his siblings, JoAnn Foreman of Opelika, James Harris of Opelika and Jerome Harris of Opelika. He is also survived by nieces & nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel (612 M. L. King Drive SE, Lafayette, AL 36862). The lying in state was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Greater Peace Baptist Church (650 Jeter Ave, Opelika, AL 36801). A burial was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at the Garden Hills Cemetery (1218 Frederick Rd, Opelika, AL 36801).
