She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren Earl and Virginia Peery Tilson; her brother James Edward Tilson; her husband Forest; and her daughter Beth Powell Fletcher Brokaw (David).
She is survived by: her daughters, Anne Peery Fletcher Grizzle (David) and Laura Tucker Fletcher Henry (Raymond); and her grandchildren, Benjamin David Grizzle (Heather), Joshua Peter Fletcher Grizzle (Jane), Sara Beth Henry Collins (Matt), Valerie Anne Henry Sirenko (Maxim), Andrew Tilson Grizzle (Katy), Laura Christiana Brokaw and Nathan Forest Brokaw. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
