It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harriet Elizabeth Haynie (Lisa) Chappell of Opelika, Alabama, who passed away on November 21, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Bobby Ray Haynie; and her husband David Bryson Chappell. She is survived by: her mother Jane Leverett Haynie; her sons, John Chappell (Laurel) and Nathan Chappell (Kelly); her grandchildren, Olivia and Bryson Chappell; and her siblings, Linda Caudle (Tom) and Rob Haynie (Carolyn). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Lisa's honor to Bethany House in Auburn, AL.
