He was predeceased by: his wife Diane Rogers; his mother Josephine Hamer; his stepfather Earl Hamer; his father Harold Rogers; and his stepsister Catherine Taylor.
He is survived by: his children, Dr. Amy Rogers (Elizabeth Cantrell) of Auburn, Alabama and Michael Rogers (Leigh) of Fairhope, Alabama; his grandchildren, Libby Rogers, Logan Rogers, Henry Cantrell and Millie Cantrell; and his mother-in-law Jeanette Barker.
