He was predeceased by: his mother L. A. Traylor; and his siblings, Edward, Wayne, Ricky Traylor, Jessie Snider and Earlene Dennis.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Berry Traylor; his children, Phillip (Maria) and Tommie Jo Griswold (Tim); and his siblings, LaRhue Harbison, Dorothy Kennamer, Arley and James Traylor. He is also survived by five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren.
