He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughters, Sonya Crawford of Sylacauga, AL, Maletreate Thomas of Montgomery, AL and Sonia Deshaun Taylor Smith (Keith) of Stafford Springs, CT; his sisters, Gloria Jeanice Threatt of Sylacauga, AL and Evelyn Thomas Millender (Robert) of Moss Point, MS; his close friend Evelyn Strickland Wallace of Opelika, AL; his stepchildren, Horace Wallace, Jr. of Opelika, AL, Melvin Wallace, Kelvin Wallace (Terika) of Birmingham, AL and Dr. Utopia Echols of Opelika, AL; his grandchildren, Brandon Crawford, Taylor, Meckley Smith, Javonta Wallace, Jasmine Wallace, Kelvin Wallace, II, Kaylie Wallace, Keagan Wallace, Ty Wallace, ShaDashia Johnson (Denton), McKenzie Wallace and Skyler Hayes Frazier; and his nieces, Karen E. Millender and Kristen Millender. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
