She was predeceased by: her parents, Hasty and Julia Hughes; and her husband Troyce Shields. She is survived by: her children, Jerry Sue (Bennett Jones), Vickie Jo (Alvin Stanfield), Dennis Wayne (Nancy Shields) and Guy Ray (Denise Shields); her grandchildren, Toni Sue Thrasher (Bill), Rowdy Meadows (Karen), Keith Stanfield (Kristie), Christy Pelham (Rick), Brent Shields, Ellison Uzzell (Ben), Rebecca Shields, Justin Shields (Jody), Calley Tidwell (David), Ashley Story (Paul), Dawn Jones (Joel) and Kimberly Oas (Eric); and her sisters-in-law, Patricia Shields and Kathryn Hageria. She is also survived by 25 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
