She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Luhta. She is survived by: her children, Gina Halberstadt of Opelika, Joel Barnes (Catherine) of Opelika, Juan Barnes (Kathy) of Opelika and Chancey (Patti) of New Hope, Alabama.; her pet Lil Fox; her child Southern Upholstery; and her daughter-in-law Catherine. She is also survived by six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Macon County Humane Society.
