He is survived by: his mother Kathy Mims; his stepfather Willie Mims of Opelika, AL; his children, Khadijah Ellis of Opelika, AL, Danavious Shaundrea Simpson of Auburn, AL and Djerial Caldwell of Alexander City, AL; his siblings, Aretheo Burns of Dadeville, AL, Michael Dowdell of Waverly, AL and Larry Maddox of Opelika, AL; his grandchildren, Kamiya Ambus, Raelynn Ellis and Jose Ambus; his grandmother Mattie Lou Holloway of Alexander City, AL; and his nephews, Ezekiel Heard and Torelanda Mennifield. He is also survived by uncles and aunts, other relatives and friends.
