With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Corey Wade Lewis of Opelika, Alabama, who passed away on May 7, 2023 at the age of 47. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his parents, Glenniss Lewis and Connie Lewis; his children, Brandon Keith Payne (Kelsey) and Briana Kaitlyn Lewis (Walter); his grandchildren, Bentley Keith Payne, Walter Lee Holmes III, Beckham Knox Payne, Savannah Marie Holmes and Emmett David Payne; his sister April Byrd (Brent); and his nephews, Brent Hunter Byrd (Ryan) and Tyler Coleman Byrd. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
