She was predeceased by: her parents, Coyle Reese and Myrtis Reese; her husband Harold; and her daughter Vicki Whelchel. She is survived by: her son Doug (D'Anne); her grandchildren, Lindsey Mendez (Chris), Trenton Donnelly, Ryan and Reese Watson; her great grandchild Eva Mendez; and her siblings, Frank Reese (Joanna) and Claudia Banks (Kenneth). She is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home (1500 Frederick Rd, Opelika, AL 36801). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to a charity of choice.
