He is survived by: his brother Rodney Reid (Alice); his daughters, Heather Mays (Jamie) of McCalla, AL and Ashley Burt (Peyton) of Auburn, AL; his grandchildren, Kyndal, Kate Mays of Tuscaloosa, AL and Will Burt; his nieces, Shannon Crull (Luther) and Jan Busby; his nephew Bret Reid; his great-niece Mary Alice Crull; and his great-nephews, Charlie Crull, Emory Reid Compton and William Busby.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home (1500 Frederick Rd, Opelika, AL 36801). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
