He is survived by: his son Steven Smith (Shannon); his grandchildren, Josh Chappell, Sam Smith and Savana Thompson; his daughter Stephanie Chappell (Lee); his grandsons, Jonathan, Jared and Jackson Chappell; his son Patrick Parmer; his grandchildren, Taylor Parmer and Faith Choron; his daughter Kristy Robertson (Ricky); his grandson Jason Clark; his daughter Janice Decker (Junior); his grandchildren, Nathan, Zachary Decker and Kaylee Decker; and his great grandchildren, Fisher Choron, Alaina and Avery Thompson.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the Frederick-Dean Funeral Home & Crematory (1801 Frederick Rd, Opelika, AL 36801). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
