We are sad to announce that on March 9, 2024, at the age of 86, Barbara Ann Curry of Opelika, Alabama, born in Dysart, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Zupon and Anna Zupon; and her husband Dr. Benjamin Donald Curry. She is survived by: her children, Chris Curry, Jason Curry (Paige), Anna Newman (Beau) and John Curry (Jenice); her grandchildren, Gracen, Ethan, Lucy, Peyton and Ben; her brothers, Joe "Junior" Zupon (Pat) and Eugene "Smiley" Zupon; and her sister-in-law Becky Curry Duke.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church in Opelika or to East Alabama Food Bank honoring Barbara's deep commitment to her faith and her community.
