She was predeceased by: her parents, Judson H. Salter and Lucy H. Salter; and her husband Harris W. Asbury. She is survived by: her son Wake; her daughter-in-law Joan Asbury; her daughter Kate Asbury Larkin of Opelika; her great grandchildren, Stark, Bascom, Thompson, Helen, Olivia, Charlie and Virginia; and her brother Judson (Joan) of Opelika. She is also survived by three nieces and five nephews.
