It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ann Marie DeLoach Hayes in Opelika, Alabama, born in Walnut Grove, Alabama, who passed away on February 25, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Earl DeLoach and Altha Thompson DeLoach; and her siblings, Thomas Henry DeLoach and Fran DeLoach Brown. She is survived by: her husband Edward S. Hayes; her children, Michael Hayes (Monica Thrash Hayes) of Trussville and Michelle Morton (Philip Morton) of Pike Road; and her grandchildren, Hunter Morton, Mitchell Hayes and Melissa Hayes.
