We are sad to announce that on November 12, 2024, at the age of 64, Andy Knowles of Opelika, Alabama, born in Valley, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Knowles and Lurline Knowles; his parents-in-law, John and Winnie Dawkins; and his granddaughter Lydia Freeman.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Dawkins Knowles; his children, Tony Knowles (Meghan), Christy Freeman (Derek), Amanda Tarvin (Scott), Amy Sloop (Steven) and Matt Williford (JoBeth); his grandchildren, Madelyn, Cole, Hudson, Kinley, Coralyn, Tabitha, Jackson, Julia, Kylie, Connelly, Hunter, James, Clara and Lottie Anne; and his siblings, Jerry Knowles (Diane), Wade Knowles (Cindy) and Beth Gentry (Oliver).
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Frederick-Dean (1801 Frederick Rd, Opelika, AL 36801). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
