It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alberta Huston of Opelika, Alabama, born in Goodwater, Alabama, who passed away on September 1, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Haynes and Leona Haynes; and her siblings, Excelle Talton, Mae Richardson, Hilda Gardner, Sara Hughes, Martha McDaniel, William Haynes and Clanton Haynes.

She is survived by: her husband Alvin Huston; her children, Sharon Lee (Terry) and Al Huston (Renee); her grandchildren, Trey Lee (Dana), Garrett Huston and Keely Huston; her great grandchildren, Alyssa Lee, Alyson Lee and Robert Tyson; her nieces and nephews, Pat Blythe (John), Sherri Griswold (Kelley) and Wayne Talton; and her siblings, Sheila Stephens, John Haynes, Jr., Frances Haynes and Clinton Haynes.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to The Harbor at Opelika Memory Care Facility.
