He is survived by: his wife Dianne Gafford Owens; his children, Kristin Owens Schlenker (Jonathan) and Kevin Wayne Owens (Julie Hayes); and his grandchildren, Reagan Schlenker, Reilly Schlenker, Jack Schlenker, Allie Owens and Grayson Owens.
A graveside service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 10:15 AM at the Alabama National Cemetery (3133 Hwy 119, Montevallo, AL 35115).
