He was predeceased by: his parents, Musa Sahawneh and Nasrah Deabis Sahawneh; and his brother Ghassan Sahawneh. He is survived by: his spouse Jan Starr Sahawneh; his children, John Sahawneh, Cathy Cox (Jeremy) and Susan Sahawneh; his grandchildren, Luke Sahawneh, Jude Sahawneh, Connor Cox, Chloe Cox and Calla Cox; and his siblings, William Sahawneh (Jeanne), Bassam Sahawneh, Basem Sahawneh (Nazek), Ibraheem Sahawneh (Neda) and Naderah Sahawneh.
