He was predeceased by: his parents, L. J. Brown and Lillie Craig Brown; and his siblings, Estelle Weaver, Imogene Pruett, Inez Woodard, Louise Tadlock, Lottie Brown, Coy, Billy and Jacky Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Epperson Brown; his son Jeffery D. Brown; his granddaughter Tiffany Butler (Matt); and his great grandchild Julianne Marie Butler. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers the family suggestions donations be made to the Marshall Medical South Cancer Center.
