He is survived by: his wife Dawn Redding Cooper; his children, Roberta Sherwood, Debra Payton, Joann Schmidt, Megan Lowry and Robert Cooper, Jr.; and his brothers, George Cooper, Larry Cooper and Earl Cooper. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren.
