With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Richard Gillispie of Oneonta, Alabama, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his father Jack Gillispie Sr.; and his siblings, Cleo, Jack Jr., Larry, Horace Gillispie, Doris White and Donna Gail Warren.
He is survived by: his mother Willie McPherson Gillispie; his children, Rechelle Gillispie (Reggie) and Linol Mitchell Gillispie; and his siblings, Mark, George, Stanley Gillispie, Ivory Steward (Orson) and Marshell Crabtree (John). He is also survived by five grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lemley Funeral Chapel (6878 2nd Ave W, Oneonta, AL 35121). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
