She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Brown and Louise Beard Brown; and her siblings, Joe Paul Brown, Juanita Montgomery and Ann Garrett.
She is survived by: her husband Garvis Dover; her children, Manuel Allen Dover (Lisa) and Paula Jan Quinn (Guy); and her grandchildren, Katherine Dover, Brandon Henry, Ireland Quinn and Padraig Quinn. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The lying in state was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bethel Baptist Church (2807 Beason Cove Rd, Steele, AL 35987). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
