Peggy Joyce touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Roland Jerrel McCain; her daughter Kaye McCain Nix; her parents, Blanche Gertrude Roberts and Carl Cluese Roberts; and her siblings, Carl Roberts, Hayden Blankenship and Eleanor Graham.

She is survived by: her sons, David J. McCain (Dale) and Rodney W. McCain (Debbie); and her grandchildren, Wendy Rodriguez, Heather Nix (Alecia), Jonathan Nix (Holly), Amber Underwood (Bert), Jennifer Lewis (Michael), Elizabeth Tucker (Steve Jr.) and William McCain (Nicole). She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lemley Funeral Chapel (6878 2nd Ave W, Oneonta, AL 35121). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
