She was predeceased by: her parents, Cyrus Grady and Mary Jane Brown Gamble; her husband Houston Mize; and her daughters, Jane Glasscock and Helen Arnett.

She is survived by: her son Kenneth H. Mize (Cheryl) of Pine Mountain; her son-in-law Larry Glasscock of Pine Mountain; her grandchildren, Greg Wanninger (Gia), Steve Arnett (Shanikwa), Judy Snead (Shane), Bobby Wanninger (Alanna), Jonathan Mize (Jessica) and Samuel Mize; and her brother Delbert Gamble of New Mexico. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
