Mollie Ellen Anderton Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mollie Ellen Anderton of Oneonta, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 28, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Fred H. Anderton; and her sister Sible Miller. She is survived by: her children, Fred H. Anderton, Jr. (Anna), Tim L. Anderton (Dale), Jane Ellen Wood (Dale), Paul T. Anderton (Robin) and Steve C. Anderton (Melinda); her grandchildren, Erick, Vince, Maddie, Lee, Drew, Beth, Bekah, Daw Jr., Hannah, Chara, Naomi, Christian, Kathryn, Bailey and Chaney; and her great grandchildren, Natalie, Quinn, Cameron, Kennedy, Mollie, Xander, Emma, Aubrey, Frederick, Kesid, Eva, Samuel, Anne, Saoirse, Houston and Colt.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Union Hill Baptist Church (2919 County Hwy 39, Oneonta, AL 35121). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family's request is to donate to the Fred and Mollie Anderton Missions Scholarship at Redeemer Community Church.
