He was predeceased by: his wife Pearl Haynes Graves; his children, Bearl Graves, Paulette Ball, Lydia Johnson and Flora Ball Davis; his grandsons, Randolph L. Graves, Derrick Graves and Alexander V. Keeton; his great grandchild Jaylon Earl Graves; and his brother Verbon Graves.
He is survived by: his children, Benny Graves, Millar Graves, Marva Bradley, Ruby Graves Thomas (David) and Patricia Graves; his son-in-law Darryl Jonhson; and his brothers, Nylon Graves and Nolan Graves (Diane Graves). He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; thirty-six great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren.
