He was predeceased by: his sister Anabel Maldonado Moran; and his grandparents, Maria Gudalupe Vargas Hernandez and Juan Vargas. He is survived by: his parents, Javier Escobar and Elvira Vargas Escobar; his children, Natalie, Maya Zarate, Adrian Zarate, Elias Lopez and Gabriel Ramirez; his siblings, Roberto Vargas Hernandez, Emma Patricia Contreras, Nancy Karina Maldonado of Javier Escobar, JR. and Juan Escobar; and his girlfriend Heather Marie Lopez.
