She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Minton and Thelma Minton (Stewart). She is survived by: her husband Edwin Blackwood; her children, Kim (Rachel), Jerry and Karen Allen; her sister Mary Sue Sides; and her grandchildren, Brandon Lamar Blackwood, Alexandra Shea Blackwood and Lauralei Allen.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Blount County/ Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel (17885 AL-160, Cleveland, AL 35049). A burial was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 3:30 PM at the Mt. Joy Cemetery.
