He was predeceased by: his parents, Leldon Watson and Betty Watson; his daughter Vickie Watson; and his sisters, Mary Guinn and Rita Shockley.
He is survived by: his close friend Velma Cox; and his children, Kristie Grund, Matt Watson and Jeff Watson. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and a host of cousins.
