In the sacred silence of farewell, Laura Jean is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Laura Jean's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She is survived by: her parents, Gordon Bloodworth and Glenda Ellis Bloodworth; and her sisters, Melanie Christian (David) and LeAnn Hamby (Craig). She is also survived by many other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the New Life Ministries (4435 County Hwy 29, Oneonta, AL 35121). A memorial service was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to New Life Ministries Building Fund.
