He is survived by: his father Billie Scottland of Louisville, KY; his stepsiblings, Marty, Deborah, Angela, Karen and Shawn; his children, LaTonya Scottland Nelson (DJ), Karl Davis Scottland, Jr. (Aimee) and Travis Scottland (Florentina) of Warrior, AL.; his siblings, Wanda Scottland and Tommy Scottland of Warrior, AL.; his grandchildren, Zaria, Aniah, Joseph, Keyarra, Zion, Jadon, Kaylani, Eli, Maria, Julia, Dejah, Amir and Anthony; his stepsons, Alvin Jennings (Tessa) and Samuel Jennings; his grandchildren, Heziki, Ayanna, Elijah, Aaliyah and Jordan; his brothers-in-law, Alphonso Holston, Ray Holston (Brenda), Roy Holston (Joyce), Jerry Holston and Alfred Holston (Tina); and his close friend Frank Brewster.
