He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Jo Lumpkin Stephens; his parents, Joe Berry and Cora Lee Stephens (Chappell); and his sisters, Opal Sorrow and Faye Nell Moore.
He is survived by: his sons, Farrell Stephens (Jan) and David Stephens (Shauna); his grandchildren, Adam Stephens (Angelina), Beth Winfield (Russell), Audra McIntyre (Jamie) and Alis Stephens; and his great grandchildren, Jaden, Adelina, Farrah, Jacob, John, Elizabeth, Logan and Landon.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lemley Funeral Chapel (6878 2nd Ave W, Oneonta, AL 35121). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to the Oneonta Masonic Lodge 324 at PO Box 516, Oneonta, AL., 35121.
