He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Phillips; his parents, John L. Phillips and Elizabeth Phillips; and his half-brother Wayne Defoor. He is survived by: his sons, Rodney and Wayne Phillips; his grandchildren, Abbie Alexander (Preston), Charlsey Phillips and Rance Phillips; and his sister Anne Brand (Nelson).
