It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John L Bodine of Oneonta, Alabama, who passed away on February 1, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Susan Bodine Baugh (Kirkland) and Albert Bodine; his son Roy Gene Blackwood, Jr.; his grandson Michael Clem; and his siblings, Raymond Bodine, Earl Bodine, Jan Taylor and Betty Keely.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Vargas Bodine; his children, Joyce Yancey (William), Shelia Netherton, Barbie Jolly (Bobby), Doris Clem, John A. Bodine (Pat), Calvin Bodine (Jen), Alvin Bodine, Barbara Hall (Rickey) and Louise Bodine (Will); and his siblings, Kenneth Bodine (Rita), James Bodine (Doty), Dan Baugh (Vicki), Charles Baugh (Diana), Tim Baugh (Debbie), Shelia Baugh, Jane Rich and Martha Baker. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren.
