He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Turner and Maddie Sue Shoemaker Turner; his wife Judy Lynn Turner; his daughter Christy "Sissy" Turner; and his brother Jerry Turner.
He is survived by: his daughter Dana Turner of Oneonta; his grandchildren, Octavia "Ta" Turner, Olivia Henry and Colby Turner; and his great grandchild Kato Wood.
