He was predeceased by: his parent Verdie Adamson. He is survived by: his wife Betty Jane Adamson; his children, Michael Adamson and Tammie Gulley (Darryl); his stepchildren, Chris Gulley, Yvonne Sandlin and Yvette Richards; and his sisters, Ernestine Dickie and Shirley Fortner (Eldridge). He is also survived by three grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
