He was predeceased by: his parents, Garlon Mason and Jewel Mason; his parents-in-law, J. P. and Willie Whitley Webb; his grandparents, Charlie, Lizzie Hulsey Mason, Homer and Ruthie Weldon Rigsby; his brother Huston; and his sister-in-law Joann Webb Dyer.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Jane Webb; his children, Angela Mason Gillespie (Brad) of Columbus, Georgia and Brad Mason of Snead, Alabama; his grandchildren, Coleman Mason (Amber Riddle Mason), Whitley Gillespie, Chase Mason (Aleigha Pettiecord) and Mason Gillespie; his great grandchildren, Kyleigh Riddle and Amelia Mason; his nieces and nephews, John and Gala Dyer Singleton; and his great-niece Nicole Singleton (Josh Tolbert).
