We are sad to announce that on November 2, 2024, at the age of 67, Glen n Wade Sr. of Oneonta, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Emma Jo Douglas; his stepfather James Douglas; and his brothers, Gary L. "Bucky" Wade, James Russell Sr. and Michael Russell.
He is survived by: his children, Brandi Nicole Wade of Lawrenceville, GA and Glenn Wade Jr.; his siblings, Yvonne Gillespie of Huntsville, AL, Joanne Dillapree of Oneonta, AL, Cynthia Russell of Bessemer, AL, Carlton Russell Sr. of Grand Prairie, TX, Jeanette Russell of Oneonta, AL and Theresa Nobles of Talladega, AL; and his sister-in-law Jackie Russell of Pell City, AL. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The lying in state was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A graveside service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Alabama National Cemetery.
