He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Earnest Reid and Crissie Starnes Reid; his daughter Amanda Reid (Mandy); his sisters, Lorene Reeves, Wilma Caldwell, Maybelle Douglas and Irene Mathews Love; his wife Linda Sheram Reid; his children, Larry Reid (Denise), Gina Brewer (Randy), Vicki Reid Morgan, Sim Reid and Robert G. Reid (Minnie); and his sister Margaret Hulstead. He was also cherished by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
