It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George Alonzo Reid of Oneonta, Alabama, who passed away on December 7, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Ellis and Inez Sunshine Bynum Reid; his brothers, Harmon Carl and Elmer Dan Reid; and his brother-in-law Kenneth Price.

He is survived by: his wife Laura Jane Reeves Reid; his daughter Kelley Reid Cox (Tracy); his granddaughters, Kiley Elizabeth and Kenzie Elise Cox; his siblings, Ellis Reid (Marlyn) and Ellie Anne Price; and his sisters-in-law, Jewanda Moss, Betty Reeves (Jerry Bailey) and Billie Faye Hallman. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
